Warm up olive oil in a big pot on medium heat. Toss in onions and ground beef, cooking until the onions soften and the beef no longer looks pink. Get rid of the extra fat.

Mix in the pasta, milk, ranch packet, and beef broth. Turn the heat up to get it boiling, then lower it to a slow simmer and cover. Give it a stir now and then, cooking for about 10-12 minutes or until the pasta softens.

When done cooking, take off the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until it's smooth and gooey.

Sprinkle salt and pepper to suit your taste. Dish it out while it’s warm.
