Buttery Sugar Snowballs (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cookies

01 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
02 - ¾ cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
03 - 2¼ cups plain flour
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - ½ cup powdered sugar for mixing, extra for coating
06 - 1 cup softened butter

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven heated up to 400°F.
02 - Mix butter, vanilla, and sugar until creamy. Add salt and flour a bit at a time, blending gently. Toss in the finely chopped nuts and stir.
03 - Shape dough into balls about 1 inch wide by rolling in your hands.
04 - Put in the oven for 10-12 minutes until done but still pale.
05 - Let the cookies sit on the tray for a minute or two, then coat the warm ones in powdered sugar.
06 - After cooling completely, cover them with powdered sugar one more time.
