Easy Chocolate Snack Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Layer

01 - One box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
02 - Eggs, oil, and water as listed on the mix instructions

→ Filling

03 - 2 cups powdered sugar
04 - 16 oz of marshmallow cream
05 - 2 sticks of unsalted butter, softened
06 - ¼ tsp of kosher salt
07 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla

→ Ganache

08 - 1 cup heavy cream
09 - 1⅓ cups (8 oz) chocolate chips, semisweet

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F. Use parchment for lining a 9x13 pan, then grease it lightly.
02 - Follow the cake mix box for making batter. Pour into your pan, bake for around 25 minutes, and let it cool down fully.
03 - Use the microwave in 15-second bursts to melt chocolate and cream together. Chill it for about 45 minutes to thicken.
04 - Whip softened butter till fluffy. Add salt and sugar; beat to mix well. Blend in vanilla and marshmallow cream till smooth.
05 - Spread the filling over the cooled cake. Chill for half an hour. Layer ganache on top and refrigerate about an hour to set firm. Slice into 18 pieces.

01 - Ganache can also be made on stovetop instead of a microwave
