Turn on oven to 390°F. Cover a tray with parchment paper.

Stir together cocoa and flour until blended.

Heat olive oil and butter together. Mix in sugar, food coloring, water, and salt. Let it come to a boil for 5 minutes. Stir in the flour mixture.

Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to cool down. Add an egg and vanilla, then beat until smooth.

Pipe out 4-inch strips onto the tray. Bake 10 minutes at 390°F, then lower to 350°F for another 7-10 minutes.
