Beef Pasta Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 8 ounces medium pasta shells

→ Aromatics & Seasonings

04 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
05 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1/2 medium sweet onion, diced

→ Sauce

08 - 6 ounces shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
09 - 3/4 cup heavy cream
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - 2 cups beef stock
12 - 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the shells in salted water and follow the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
02 - Heat up olive oil and cook the beef until browned (about 3-5 minutes). Remove the fat and keep it on the side.
03 - Sauté onion until soft. Toss in garlic, seasonings, and flour. Let the flour cook for a minute.
04 - Pour in the tomato sauce and beef stock. Let it bubble for 6-8 minutes so it thickens.
05 - Mix in the pasta, beef, cream, and cheese. Warm it up and add any seasoning you like.
