Blue Tea Latte (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Latte Mix-Ins

01 - A teaspoon of lemon juice (optional, for a cool color shift)
02 - Ice cubes
03 - 1-2 teaspoons of your choice of sweetener like honey (optional)
04 - Half a cup of milk, dairy or plant-based
05 - Optional: A few butterfly pea flowers for decorating

→ Flower Tea Base

06 - A cup of hot water
07 - About a tablespoon of dried butterfly pea flowers, one tea bag, or 5-6 fresh blossoms

# Instructions:

01 - Drop the flowers or tea bag into hot water. Let it soak for 5-7 minutes, strain out the bits, and cool it down to room temp.
02 - While still warm, stir in sweetener if you want. Make sure it dissolves completely.
03 - Foam your milk. Use a frother, blend it until bubbly, or give it a good shake in a jar with a lid.
04 - Dump some ice into your glass. Pour the cooled tea over it, then top it off by gently adding foamed milk for layers.
05 - To watch the drink change color, mix in lemon juice. Toss in a few flowers on top for flair, if you'd like.

# Notes:

01 - Works with both plant-based or dairy milk—your choice.
02 - Adding lemon juice makes the drink change from blue to purple.
03 - Completely free of caffeine.
