Buttery Sausage Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Butter Sausage

01 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
02 - 1 pound smoked or Italian sausage, sliced into pieces
03 - 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
04 - 3 tablespoons butter
05 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Creamy Pasta

06 - 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
07 - 2 tablespoons butter
08 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
09 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
10 - 12 ounces of pasta, like fettuccine or penne

→ Seasonings & Garnish

11 - Fresh parsley, chopped up
12 - A pinch of salt to taste
13 - 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Heat some olive oil in a pan, cook the sausage slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, and then take them out.
02 - In the same pan, melt butter and toss in the garlic. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes, then throw in the sausage and seasonings.
03 - Cook your pasta in salted boiling water until it’s just tender but still firm. Drain the water and put it aside.
04 - Melt butter in a big pot. Add the cream and garlic powder, then slowly whisk in Parmesan until it’s nice and smooth. Add a bit of salt if needed.
05 - Mix the pasta with the sauce, lay the sausage on top, and sprinkle with parsley and Parmesan before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Using freshly grated Parmesan cheese gives the best flavor.
02 - Add a little pasta water if the sauce feels too thick.
03 - Feel free to include some veggies like mushrooms or spinach!
