Cheesecake Bites Strawberry (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 package (15.25 ounces) strawberry-flavored cake mix
02 - 1 brick (8 ounces) cream cheese, at room temp
03 - A bag of pink candy melts (12 ounces)
04 - Optional: 4 ounces white almond bark for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Microwave the dry mix for 30 seconds two times, stirring it up each time. Let it cool off completely.
02 - Whip cream cheese until it’s silky, about 2 minutes or so. Gently mix in the cooled cake mix until they’re all combined.
03 - Wrap the mixture tight and pop it in the fridge for a good 2 hours.
04 - Take out tablespoon-sized bits and roll them into neat balls. Place them on a parchment-covered tray.
05 - Dip each ball in melted pink candy. Optionally, you can drizzle some white almond bark for a nice touch. Chill until ready to eat.

# Notes:

01 - Make sure cream cheese isn’t cold—it needs to be soft.
02 - Uncoated bites can stay in the fridge overnight just fine.
03 - Don’t skip microwaving the cake mix first!
