Slice the beef into slim pieces. Toss it with all the seasoning items in the flavoring group. Let it sit for 15 minutes after giving it a good mix.
02 -
Stir everything from the cooking sauce group in a small bowl. Pop it to one side until you're ready to use it.
03 -
Crack the egg over the flavored beef slices and mix them up. Dust the pieces with starch flour, making sure they don't clump together. Shake off any extra flour before frying.
04 -
Crank the oil heat to 350°F. Fry the beef slices for 1-2 minutes until crispy. Pull them out and let them drain on a rack or some paper towels.
05 -
Get your wok or pan hot over medium heat. Add a little oil, toss in the onion slices for a few seconds, then throw in the pepper pieces and mix them well.
06 -
Drop in the fried beef. Pour over the sauce and throw in the peppers and green onions. With high heat, stir everything together quickly for 1-2 minutes.
07 -
Move it all to a plate. Serve straight away with noodles or hot rice. It works great as an appetizer too!
