01 - 1 cup (168g) semi-sweet chocolate chips, plus extra for sprinkling
02 - 3 super-ripe bananas, mashed (about 1¼ cups)
03 - ⅓ cup (77g) sour cream, brought to room temperature
04 - 2 large eggs, warmed to room temp
05 - 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
06 - 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
07 - 1 cup (168g) milk chocolate chips, plus some extra for garnish
08 - ½ cup (59g) unsweetened cocoa powder
09 - ½ teaspoon kosher salt
10 - ⅓ cup (73g) vegetable oil
11 - 1¼ teaspoons baking soda

# Instructions:

01 - Turn the oven to 350°F to preheat. Coat a 9x5-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
02 - Combine salt, cocoa powder, baking soda, and flour in a big mixing bowl. Give it a good whisk.
03 - In another bowl, whisk together the oil and sugar. Stir in the sour cream and eggs.
04 - Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, then add bananas and chocolate chips. Stir gently until it just comes together.
05 - Pour the batter into your prepared pan and scatter extra chocolate chips on top. Bake for 60 minutes, cover with foil, and bake for another 20 minutes.
06 - Let the loaf cool in the pan. Take it out, slice it up, and enjoy.

01 - You get three layers of chocolate: cocoa, chocolate chips, and more chocolate chips.
02 - For the best taste, use bananas that are very spotty or even black.
