# Ingredients:

→ Seared Salmon

01 - 4 salmon fillets, no skin
02 - 2 tsp garlic powder
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil
04 - 1 tsp kosher salt
05 - 1 tsp Italian herb mix
06 - 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
07 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
08 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano

→ Cream Sauce

09 - 3 tbsp butter, unsalted
10 - 1 cup heavy whipping cream
11 - 1/2 tbsp garlic, finely chopped
12 - 2 tbsp softened cream cheese
13 - 1 tbsp freshly minced parsley
14 - 2 tbsp basil, freshly chopped
15 - 1/2 to 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, adjust as you like
16 - 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
17 - 1/2 cup chicken stock
18 - Salt and ground black pepper, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Place salmon on a flat surface. Coat with olive oil and sprinkle evenly with the seasoning mix: Italian herbs, salt, garlic powder, oregano, black and red pepper.
02 - On medium-high heat, warm oil in a skillet. Sear fillets for about 3 minutes each on one side, then flip and repeat until they’re crispy outside. Lower the temperature and cook until done. Take them off the heat once ready.
03 - In the same skillet, melt your butter on medium heat and cook the garlic for a minute or two until it smells good.
04 - Pour in cream, broth, and a splash of lemon juice. Let it bubble lightly for 2 to 3 minutes. Blend in parmesan and cream cheese, stirring until the sauce gets thicker. Add some salt and pepper if needed.
05 - Add parsley and basil to the pan, mixing with the sauce. Slide the salmon back into the pan and let it sit in the sauce for a minute or so before it’s ready to plate.

# Notes:

01 - A speedy dinner done in about half an hour
02 - Feel free to toss in cooked onions for more flavor
03 - Use more or less parmesan based on how thick you want the sauce
