Crank up your oven to 450°F and, if the wings feel damp, dry them well with paper towels.

Combine garlic powder, onion powder, baking powder, potato starch, and paprika with the chicken wings. Make sure everything sticks nicely.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and give it a light mist of oil. Lay the wings out flat, then spray a little more oil over the tops.

When ready, reduce the heat to 425°F and bake them 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway. Give them another spritz of oil when you turn them over.

While the wings bake, grab a small pot and turn the heat to medium. Toss in the butter, honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, and salt. Stir it up for 3–5 minutes until everything melds together. Set a little extra aside if you like to dip.

When they’re done baking, move the wings to a big bowl and stir them with the warm honey lemon sauce until each one is coated.
