Garlic Bok Choy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 8 cloves garlic, finely chopped
02 - 1 pound baby bok choy
03 - ⅓ cup water
04 - 1 tablespoon cooking oil

→ Spicy Sauce

05 - ¼ teaspoon sugar
06 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce
07 - 1½ tablespoons chili oil or crisp
08 - ½ tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine
09 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil

# Instructions:

01 - Cut bok choy into halves. Wash under cold water and shake off the excess.
02 - Stir together all sauce ingredients in a small dish.
03 - Warm up oil in a big pan over medium-low heat. Cook the garlic for around 10 seconds, stirring, till it smells nice.
04 - Turn the heat to medium-high. Toss in bok choy and pour in the water. Cook while stirring for about 2-4 minutes until they soften.
05 - Drizzle the sauce on. Mix it all up, then take it off the heat.

01 - Swap in other leafy Asian vegetables if you'd like!
02 - Chicken stock works instead of the wine.
