Gingerbread Latte Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - To make Gingerbread Syrup:
02 - 1 teaspoon vanilla essence.
03 - A pinch of salt.
04 - 1 teaspoon ground ginger.
05 - ¼ teaspoon grated nutmeg.
06 - ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon.
07 - 2 tablespoons molasses.
08 - ¾ cup plain water.
09 - ½ cup packed brown sugar.
10 - ¼ cup granulated sugar.
11 - For the Latte:
12 - 4 shots of strong espresso.
13 - ⅓ cup milk of your choice.
14 - A sprinkle of fresh nutmeg for topping.
15 - Cookies or marshmallows to decorate.
16 - 3 tablespoons of gingerbread syrup.
17 - ¼ cup whipped topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the sugars, molasses, spices, and liquid in a saucepan. Heat gently, whisking, for about 3-4 minutes until it’s all smooth and combined.
02 - Start with the syrup in a cup, then pour in the hot espresso shots right after.
03 - Froth some milk, warm it up, and pour that into the cup.
04 - Top the drink with whipped cream, nutmeg, and any cookie or marshmallow garnish you prefer.

# Notes:

01 - Double the syrup recipe and store it in the freezer if needed.
02 - Goes perfectly with any milk variety.
