Golden Shrimp Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
02 - 1 lb shrimp, cleaned and chopped
03 - ¼ cup green onions, diced small
04 - ½ cup crispy panko crumbs
05 - 1 egg, whisked lightly
06 - 1 teaspoon sesame oil
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
08 - ½ teaspoon black ground pepper
09 - ½ teaspoon table salt
10 - 1 tablespoon soy sauce

→ Optional Ingredients

11 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch to bind mix
12 - ¼ cup chopped cilantro leaves

13 - Cooking oil for frying

# Instructions:

01 - Either finely chop the shrimp by hand or give it a few quick pulses in a food processor if you want it smoother.
02 - Mix together the shrimp, breadcrumbs, egg, green onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add cornstarch if the mix feels too loose.
03 - With clean, damp hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-1.5 inches wide. You should get around 20 to 25 pieces.
04 - Warm up some oil in a big pan over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp balls in small batches, cooking each side for about 3-4 minutes until crispy and golden.
