Stuffing Mix Meatloaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1/2 cup water
02 - 1/2 cup ketchup, divided
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 pound ground beef (go for a fattier blend)
05 - 1 box Stove Top Stuffing (pick any flavor)

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F to get it nice and warm.
02 - Toss the meat, stuffing mix, eggs, water, and half the ketchup into a big bowl. Get in there and combine 'em well.
03 - Press the mixture into a greased loaf pan. No loaf pan? No problem—shape it by hand onto a foil-lined baking sheet, turning up the foil edges to catch the drippings.
04 - Spread the other half of the ketchup on top. Want to mix it up? Swap for BBQ or chili sauce, or even mix a few together.
05 - Pop it in the oven for 45-50 minutes. Make sure the center hits 160°F before pulling it out.
06 - Let your meatloaf chill for about five minutes before slicing it up. Pair it with mashed potatoes or your choice of sides.

# Notes:

01 - Ground beef with more fat keeps things moist since the stuffing soaks it up.
02 - Using lean beef? Add more moisture with an extra egg, some milk, or a little water.
03 - Want to jazz it up? Try adding some diced onion, minced garlic, shredded cheese, or your favorite spices.
