Mississippi Chicken Crockpot (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 peperoncini peppers
02 - ½ cup (1 stick) salted butter
03 - 1 packet ranch dressing mix
04 - 1 packet au jus gravy mix
05 - 3 pounds chicken breasts, no bones or skin

# Instructions:

01 - Place your chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
02 - Evenly scatter the ranch and au jus seasonings over the chicken.
03 - Set the butter on top of the chicken and arrange the peppers over it.
04 - Put the lid on and let it cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
05 - Use two forks to pull the chicken apart, then mix it into the juices.
06 - Pile it onto some rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes and serve warm.

01 - Choose low-sodium seasonings to make it lighter.
02 - A splash of peperoncini juice makes it tangier.
03 - Leftovers last up to 4 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
