Place your chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.

Evenly scatter the ranch and au jus seasonings over the chicken.

Set the butter on top of the chicken and arrange the peppers over it.

Put the lid on and let it cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Use two forks to pull the chicken apart, then mix it into the juices.
