Philly Cheesesteak Beef (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 hoagie rolls (7-inch each) or 1 French baguette, divided into 4 pieces
02 - 8 ounces provolone cheese
03 - 1 green bell pepper, chopped
04 - 1 yellow onion, chopped
05 - 1 pound ground beef (90% lean)

→ Seasonings

06 - 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
07 - ½ teaspoon fine salt
08 - ½ teaspoon black pepper
09 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 400°F and let it preheat.
02 - In a big skillet on medium heat, toss in the ground beef, veggies (onion and bell pepper), and seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder). Stir every so often for about 10 minutes until the meat is browned and the veggies are tender.
03 - As your filling cooks, split open the hoagie rolls or baguette pieces. Set them on a baking tray, cut side up.
04 - When the meat mix is ready, pour in the Worcestershire sauce and give it a good stir. Add half the provolone slices on top, lower the heat, and let it melt down for two minutes. Stir until smooth.
05 - Scoop the cheesy beef mixture onto the split rolls using tongs. Spread it out evenly.
06 - Put the other cheese slices over the sandwiches. Pop them in the hot oven for 3-5 minutes until the rolls are toasted and the cheese turns gooey and bubbling.

# Notes:

01 - This version swaps out sliced beef for ground beef, making it quicker to prepare.
02 - Ideal for nights when you're short on time but want something comforting.
