Ranch Chicken Gravy (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Chicken

01 - 2 teaspoons ranch seasoning mix
02 - ½ teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
03 - 4 chicken breasts, no skin or bones
04 - 1 teaspoon salt
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Gravy

06 - ½ cup sour cream
07 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of chicken
08 - 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch flavor mix
09 - 3 tablespoons butter (unsalted)
10 - 1 cup milk, whole or 2%
11 - 4 garlic cloves, minced small

# Instructions:

01 - Slice chicken into smaller pieces. In a little bowl, combine salt, pepper, and ranch mix. Coat the chicken chunks evenly.
02 - Warm olive oil over medium-high in a big skillet. Brown the chicken for about 5-6 minutes and set it aside afterward.
03 - Using the same pan, melt your butter on medium heat. Toss in garlic and let it sizzle for a minute until it smells amazing.
04 - Pour in the cream of chicken, milk, and ranch packet. Whisk until creamy, then toss the chicken back in. Cover it and let it cook gently for 15 minutes.
05 - Mix in the sour cream until the sauce is super smooth. Serve warm with noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to use less or more ranch flavoring, depending on what you like.
02 - Throw in veggies like peas or mushrooms if you're feeling fancy.
03 - It’s even tastier when reheated the next day!
