Follow the instructions on the tater tot bag to bake them (around 28 minutes at 425°F), and flip them halfway through baking.

Set the baked tater tots aside for a bit to cool so they're easy to handle.

Slide about 4 to 6 tater tots onto each skewer and place them on a baking sheet that's lined with parchment paper.

Scatter the cheese, crispy bacon pieces, and a portion of the sliced green onions over the tater tots.

Pop them back in the oven for about 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese is melted perfectly.

Sprinkle on the rest of the diced green onions and enjoy with sour cream on the side.
