Turn on the oven to 375ºF. Boil lasagna pasta based on the box instructions, drain the water, and put it aside.

On medium heat, brown the sausage in a pan. Drain extra fat and mix in tomato sauce, marinara sauce, and herbs. Let it simmer for 5-10 minutes till it thickens up.
03 -
In a bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, softened cream cheese, sour cream, stirred egg, and dried parsley flakes.
04 -
Grease a 9x13-inch dish. Spread a cup of meat filling at the bottom. Lay down 6 lasagna pieces, making sure they overlap slightly.
05 -
Add half the cheese mixture, a third of the mozzarella slices, half the meat mix, and sprinkle 1/4 cup parmesan. Repeat the layers, finishing with the leftover cheese mix at the top, and cover with foil.
06 -
Put it in the oven, covered, for 25 minutes. Take off the foil and bake for another 30 minutes until it’s bubbling. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then dig in.
