Set your grill to stay at a low temperature—around 300°F to 325°F. If you're using a charcoal grill, ensure one side has cooler coals, almost burned out.

Carefully cut the rolls horizontally so that the tops and bottoms remain attached. Lay them on a foil piece that's placed on a baking tray.

Start with spreading 2/3 of the chocolate chips on the bottom rolls. Add marshmallows next, then sprinkle the last bit of chocolate on top.

Transfer the foil with everything on it to your preheated grill. Close the lid and let it cook for about 4-10 minutes. Keep an eye out for the chocolate to melt and marshmallows to soften.

Put the top rolls back on. Brush them with melted butter, then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs and sea salt if you'd like. Serve while it's still warm!
