Velvet Cheesecake Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake

01 - 1 package (15 oz) red velvet cake mix with listed ingredients from the box
02 - 8 ounces softened cream cheese
03 - 1 egg, at room temperature
04 - 1/4 cup sour cream, softened
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla
06 - 1/4 cup white sugar

→ Frosting

07 - 4 tablespoons softened butter
08 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
09 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
11 - 2 cups confectioners' sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Turn oven to 350°F. Butter and flour two loaf tins or line them with foil and spray.
02 - Follow the directions on the cake mix box. Share it evenly between the prepared pans.
03 - Blend sour cream and cream cheese until creamy. Stir in the egg, vanilla, and sugar. Scoop this mix on top of the cake batter and twirl it in place with a spoon.
04 - Pop into the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick comes out dry. Let it cool fully.
05 - Whisk butter and cream cheese until fluffy. Mix in the powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla. Spread over completely cooled cakes.
